Our mission - to provide essential lifeline services within a new community built on kindness. Through the alliance of SupportingYou, its dedicated team of Local Heroes and the generosity of Local Businesses, our goal is to improve the lives of everyone we meet.
What We Do
We work with businesses that want to “give back” to their community. For a small fee, business owners can promote their products/services throughout our community, including; high profile networking events, fundraising initiatives, the Supporting You Business Network and all social media channels. The money raised will contribute towards essential lifeline services; communication packages for the elderly (mainly iPads), food parcels (such as food bank delivery services), educational bundles for both adults and children and charity based mental health programmes. One of our main campaigns right now is to end loneliness for the elderly. Through our community of ‘Helpers and Heroes’ the focus is to provide iPads, training and technical support to those who are housebound, reside in secluded residential areas, have limited resource/technology and suffer from a lack of connection to friends & loved ones or maybe even afraid of new technology. Our goal is to make communication packages available to as many people as possible and teach a step by step, easy to follow guide to help them get connected to the outside world, allowing them to see friends and family on a video call every day of the week.
